Examination students had an enriching visit to the Tate Britain where they studied the wonderful works of British artists from the 16th century until now. Having the opportunity to study artwork up close and not through a computer screen is tremendously important as scale, texture, detail and colour can clearly be studied and considered. Students took this opportunity to aid the development of ideas for newly set exam themes.
